Formula 1 has extended its contract with the promoters of the Canadian Grand Prix until 2035, securing the Montreal race on the calendar for another decade. The renewal includes an extension of Bell Media’s media rights deal as well. F1 chief Stefano Domenicali expressed excitement over the agreement, highlighting the race’s history and the passionate fans in Montreal. The head of the race, Jean-Philippe Paradis, emphasized the significance of the event’s place on the global stage and its rich heritage. Montreal has embarked on a three-year plan to enhance the Grand Prix, aiming to elevate it to a top quartile GP and showcase improvements in hospitality and traffic management. The agreement signifies a commitment to delivering world-class racing and building on the event’s iconic status in Canada, Québec, and Montreal.
